Parts Town, a fast-growing distributor of restaurant equipment, HVAC, and residential appliance parts, seeks a Senior Director of Manufacturer Partnerships to lead strategy and growth of HVAC and HVACR original equipment manufacturer (OEM) relationships. This role combines strategic partnership development with executive leadership, requiring you to build trusted relationships with senior OEM leaders, develop new partnerships, and drive profitable growth across the business.
Key responsibilities include developing and executing the manufacturer partnership strategy, building executive-level relationships with OEM leaders and serving as a strategic advisor on aftermarket parts, distribution, technology, and customer experience. You will lead identification, development, negotiation, and conversion of prospective manufacturer partners, create joint business plans that drive revenue and profitability, and sponsor new program launches ensuring alignment across Sales, Operations, Supply Chain, Marketing, Technology, Finance, and Customer Experience. You will lead executive business reviews, monitor partnership performance, and communicate results and opportunities to senior leadership.
You will coach and develop a high-performing team responsible for manufacturer acquisition, account growth, and program execution. The role requires 5+ years of progressive experience in strategic partnerships, business development, enterprise sales, manufacturer relations, or strategic account management. Ideal candidates have experience managing comparable business verticals and building relationships with OEMs in HVAC, HVACR, industrial distribution, equipment manufacturing, or aftermarket parts. A proven track record of building complex OEM or enterprise partnerships, engaging C-suite leaders, creating business plans, negotiating agreements, and delivering measurable revenue growth is essential.
Strong business and financial acumen, including comfort with forecasts, margins, and performance metrics, is required. You should have a collaborative, resourceful leadership style and willingness to travel nationally for manufacturer meetings and industry events.
