Oura is seeking a Senior Director of Healthcare Partnerships to develop and scale partnerships with health plans, health systems, and virtual care companies. This is a strategic, commercially-focused role for someone who can discover healthcare buyer problems, shape solutions with internal teams, and create repeatable paths from pilots to scaled programs. You will own the full partnership lifecycle: identifying and qualifying opportunities, developing value propositions and business cases, co-designing solutions, navigating complex contracting and implementation, launching programs, proving value, and expanding successful partnerships. You will work at all levels—from boardroom discussions with health plan executives to working sessions with product managers and clinical leaders. Key responsibilities include: **Market Development:** Define ideal customer profiles across health plans, health systems, and virtual care companies. Engage enterprise healthcare prospects where Oura's continuous wearable signals can improve patient engagement and care delivery. Map the healthcare buying environment (clinical, financial, technology stakeholders) and identify budget and business case drivers. Turn market feedback into recommendations on program packaging, pricing, product priorities, and evidence requirements. **Sales & Partnerships:** Lead consultative, complex sales processes with senior executives at payers, providers, and digital care companies. Build and manage a qualified pipeline. Translate Oura's capabilities into buyer-specific value propositions and financial cases. Develop business cases, pricing structures, and contracting strategies. Negotiate agreements covering commercial terms, implementation, data use, clinical responsibilities, and measurement. **Program Launch & Measurement:** Partner with internal and external teams to move opportunities from concept to pilot to scaled deployment. Define success criteria (engagement, activation, clinical outcomes, operational measures, utilization, financial impact). Work with clinical outcomes and data science teams on measurement and evidence plans. Review performance, diagnose issues, and recommend iteration, expansion, renewal, or discontinuation. Convert learnings into repeatable offerings and case studies. **Cross-Functional Leadership:** Help shape Oura's point of view on continuous health data in care delivery. Establish operating rhythms for pipeline review, partner prioritization, deal strategy, and performance review. Create alignment across functions. Represent Oura at healthcare conferences and industry forums. This role is remote with a preference for candidates in San Francisco, Chicago, New York, or Boston. **Requirements:** - 8+ years in digital health, healthcare technology, virtual care, healthcare services, or closely related field, with substantial enterprise partnerships or business development experience - Extensive, hands-on experience commercializing disease management, connected care, remote monitoring, or wearable-enabled programs - Deep understanding of buying decisions across health plans, health systems, provider groups, and virtual care companies - Ability to develop compelling narratives for diverse audiences (CMOs, population health leaders, CFOs, procurement executives, product leaders, care operations teams) - Proven track record taking early pilots through implementation, measurement, renewal, and expansion - Thoughtful perspective on how wearable technology and continuous physiological/behavioral data improve healthcare delivery (not just wellness) - Experience at companies with evolving priorities and constrained resources - Demonstrated record of closing complex healthcare partnerships and ensuring post-signature success - Experience building new markets, categories, products, or partnership motions where offering, buyer, pricing, or proof of value was not fully defined upfront - Judgment to identify lasting commercial opportunities and persistence to turn ambiguous feedback into focused strategy - Strong fluency in healthcare economics and buyer priorities (member/patient engagement, care management, utilization, total cost of care, reimbursement, ROI) - Experience working with clinical, product, engineering, legal, privacy, implementation, and outcomes teams - Excellent written, verbal, and executive communication skills - Highly accountable, analytical, hands-on operating style; comfortable creating strategy and executing it
