Oura is seeking a Senior Director of Healthcare Partnerships to build and scale enterprise partnerships with health plans, health systems, and virtual care companies. This is a strategic, builder-focused role requiring someone who can discover healthcare buyer problems, shape solutions collaboratively with internal teams, and create repeatable paths from pilot to scaled commercial programs. You will own the complete partnership lifecycle: identifying and qualifying opportunities, developing value propositions and business cases, co-designing solutions, navigating complex contracting and implementation, launching programs, measuring outcomes, and expanding successful partnerships. You will operate at the boardroom level with health plan executives while also collaborating in working sessions with product managers and clinical leaders. Key responsibilities include: **Market Development:** Define ideal customer profiles across health plans, health systems, and virtual care companies. Engage with enterprise healthcare prospects where Oura's continuous wearable signals can improve patient engagement and care delivery. Map the healthcare buying environment including clinical, financial, and technology stakeholders. Translate market feedback into recommendations on program packaging, pricing, product priorities, and evidence requirements. Balance near-term revenue with longer-term opportunities to establish Oura as central to healthcare delivery. **Sales & Partnerships:** Lead consultative, complex sales processes with senior executives at payers, providers, and digital care companies. Build and manage a qualified pipeline of new business. Develop business cases, pricing structures, and contracting strategies aligned with partner outcomes. Negotiate agreements involving commercial terms, implementation, data use, clinical responsibilities, and program measurement. Build trusted, multi-year partnerships designed for expansion over time. **Launch & Measurement:** Partner with internal and external teams to move opportunities from concept through pilot to scaled deployment. Define success criteria including engagement, activation, clinical outcomes, operational measures, healthcare utilization, financial impact, and partner satisfaction. Work with clinical outcomes, data science, and partner teams on measurement and evidence plans. Review program performance and make clear recommendations on iteration, expansion, renewal, or discontinuation. Convert learnings into repeatable offerings, implementation playbooks, and case studies. **Cross-Functional Leadership:** Help shape Oura's point of view on how continuous health data improves care quality, accessibility, and efficiency. Establish operating rhythms for pipeline review, partner prioritization, deal strategy, and launch readiness. Create alignment across functions. Represent Oura at healthcare conferences and industry forums as a credible voice on digital health and wearable technology. This is a remote US role with a preference for candidates based in San Francisco, Chicago, New York, or Boston. **Requirements:** - 8+ years of experience in digital health, healthcare technology, virtual care, healthcare services, or closely related field, including substantial enterprise partnerships or business development experience - Extensive, first-hand experience commercializing disease management, connected care, remote monitoring, or wearable-enabled programs - Deep understanding of how buying decisions are made across health plans, health systems, provider groups, and virtual care companies - Ability to develop compelling narratives for diverse audiences (chief medical officers, population-health leaders, CFOs, procurement executives, product leaders, care operations teams) - Proven track record taking early pilots through implementation, measurement, renewal, and expansion - Thoughtful perspective on how wearable technology and continuous physiological/behavioral data improve healthcare delivery - Experience at companies where priorities evolve quickly and resources are constrained - Demonstrated record of closing complex healthcare partnerships and ensuring their success post-signature - Experience building new markets, categories, products, or partnership motions where offering, buyer, pricing, or proof of value was not fully defined at outset - Judgment to distinguish lasting commercial opportunities and persistence to turn ambiguous feedback into focused strategy - Strong fluency in healthcare economics and buyer priorities (member/patient engagement, care management, utilization, total cost of care, reimbursement, ROI) - Experience working with clinical, product, engineering, legal, privacy, implementation, and outcomes teams - Excellent written, verbal, and executive communication skills with ability to create clarity and alignment without formal authority - Highly accountable, analytical, hands-on operating style; comfortable creating strategy and executing it
