We are seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer II to join our remote infrastructure team. This role focuses on maintaining and evolving our production infrastructure to support our rapidly scaling platform.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain Linux-based servers and systems
- Design scalable and reliable cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
- Perform infrastructure maintenance and upgrades
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and deployment processes
- Ensure smooth operation of production systems and participate in incident response for infrastructure outages
- Implement security hardening measures (PCI-DSS compliance)
- Improve observability and monitoring across the platform
- Create and maintain cloud platforms suitable for running containerized software services
Required Experience:
- Hands-on DevOps experience with demonstrated Linux system administration and maintenance
- Familiarity with cloud infrastructure platforms
- Understanding of infrastructure automation and provisioning
Preferred Experience:
- Experience with VMware, Citrix, or similar virtualization platforms
