As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will report to the Senior Engineering Manager of DevOps and play a pivotal role in designing, scaling, and securing the cloud infrastructure and platform engineering solutions powering LVT's next-generation Agentic AI platform and global IoT edge fleet.
Key responsibilities include:
- Own and architect cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code across multi-region production environments, managing massive scaling needs
- Manage, upgrade, and optimize high-availability Kubernetes clusters, focusing on seamless workload performance, advanced networking, and secure configurations
- Drive continuous adoption and maturation of GitOps practices to build robust, secure, and highly predictable deployment pipelines
- Design and maintain scalable cloud architectures, managing core services, networking, and identity access management while leading cost optimization strategies
- Implement zero-trust access frameworks and modern secrets management systems to ensure rigorous security boundaries and compliance
- Support operational health, connectivity, and deployment workflows of the global IoT and edge fleet technology
- Develop and maintain advanced observability, monitoring, and alerting frameworks for real-time system health visibility and rapid incident resolution
- Establish thorough systems documentation, architectural diagrams, and runbooks while championing collaborative engineering workflows
Ideal candidates bring 5+ years of proven DevOps, platform, or cloud infrastructure engineering experience in high-availability production environments. Deep hands-on Kubernetes expertise (preferably Amazon EKS), advanced Terraform/Terragrunt skills, and experience with declarative continuous delivery methodologies are essential. Strong background in GitOps, cloud security, zero-trust architecture, and IoT/edge systems is highly valued.
The role is based in American Fork, Utah headquarters, operating on a hybrid schedule initially with expectation of transitioning to full in-office.
