Stack AI is building infrastructure at the intersection of AI and enterprise, enabling companies to safely and reliably deploy AI at scale. As Senior DevOps Engineer, you'll own the design, implementation, and management of cloud infrastructure with a focus on scalability, security, and cost-efficiency.
Key responsibilities include leading Kubernetes operations—managing and optimizing containerized applications across deployment, scaling, monitoring, and troubleshooting. You'll drive Infrastructure as Code initiatives to standardize and automate environments, architect and maintain CI/CD pipelines to accelerate developer productivity and enable zero-downtime deployments, and implement monitoring, logging, alerting, and compliance best practices.
You'll collaborate closely with engineering teams to improve architecture, accelerate deployments, and contribute to strategic initiatives. This is a hands-on role where you'll experiment with new tools, optimize workflows, and continuously refine DevOps practices.
Required qualifications: 5+ years in DevOps, Cloud, or Infrastructure engineering; strong expertise with Kubernetes, Terraform, Docker, and Infrastructure as Code; hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, and/or GCP; solid background in CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, GitLab CI); comfort with scripting/programming (Python, Bash, or similar); and experience with monitoring and observability tools (Grafana, Prometheus, Datadog).
Nice-to-have skills include experience with FluxCD or similar GitOps tools, familiarity with security/compliance frameworks (SOC 2, HIPAA), and previous startup experience. You should have strong problem-solving and communication skills and thrive in fast-paced startup environments.
