Ottometric is building a cloud platform for automotive companies to validate and improve Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) using large-scale data processing and AI-powered analytics. The company specializes in managing petabyte-scale multimodal sensor data, building proprietary KPI computation engines, and deploying AI-assisted root-cause discovery across safety-critical systems.
As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using modern development tools and technologies. You'll deploy, configure, and operate applications and microservices across development, staging, and production environments, with a focus on reliability and scalability. Your responsibilities include managing and optimizing AWS infrastructure (compute, networking, storage, security, IAM), supporting Kubernetes-based workloads and containerized applications using Docker, and automating operational tasks using Bash or Python.
You'll participate in software release planning and execution to ensure smooth deployments, monitor platform health, troubleshoot infrastructure issues, and continuously improve system reliability and performance. Collaboration is key—you'll work closely with software engineers, QA, and engineering leadership to improve CI/CD pipelines, develop workflows, and operational efficiency. You'll also maintain engineering infrastructure including internal services, development servers, and cloud-hosted tools, with occasional support for office IT infrastructure such as workstations and networking.
Required qualifications include a Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field, with a minimum of 5 years of professional DevOps, Cloud, or Infrastructure Engineering experience. You must have hands-on AWS experience (EC2, S3, IAM), CI/CD pipeline design and maintenance, Docker and containerization expertise, strong Linux administration skills, and proficiency writing automation scripts in Bash, Python, Go, or similar languages. Understanding of infrastructure automation, cloud-native deployment practices, strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, and fluent English are essential.
Nice-to-have skills include Azure experience, Infrastructure as Code tools (CloudFormation, Terraform), monitoring and observability solutions, networking knowledge (VPCs, VPNs, load balancing, DNS, firewalls), familiarity with GitLab Runner and engineering tools like Mattermost or PostHog, Windows/macOS administration, and interest in cybersecurity and infrastructure reliability.
