Lean Solutions Group, a rapidly expanding global technology services organization based in Medellín, Colombia, is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to join their distributed engineering teams. This is a senior individual contributor role focused on designing, provisioning, automating, and maintaining cloud infrastructure that powers modern, scalable applications across the entertainment, financial, and logistics sectors.
You will work with expansive engineering teams across Latin America, the Philippines, and the United States on cutting-edge infrastructure projects. The role requires deep, hands-on expertise in AWS cloud infrastructure and Infrastructure as Code, with the ability to architect secure, scalable, and automated cloud solutions.
Required qualifications include 6+ years of DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or Platform Engineering experience with extensive production-level AWS expertise. You must have strong hands-on experience provisioning infrastructure using AWS CDK and solid programming skills in TypeScript (preferred) or Python. Deep technical knowledge is essential across Amazon ECS, ECR, Lambda, IAM, networking (VPC, Security Groups, Route Tables, Load Balancers), and EC2. You should understand Infrastructure as Code principles thoroughly, be able to design secure cloud environments using IAM best practices, and have experience implementing deployment strategies such as Blue-Green and Canary deployments.
Additional requirements include strong understanding of containerized workloads and cloud-native architectures, experience building CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation, and excellent troubleshooting and communication skills.
Nice-to-have skills include experience with Terraform or OpenTofu, AWS cost optimization and cloud governance, observability and monitoring platforms, cloud security best practices and compliance standards, and DevSecOps methodologies. You should demonstrate strong problem-solving and debugging abilities, work independently with project ownership, and communicate complex engineering concepts clearly.
