Ivo is a contract intelligence platform that uses AI to automate contract review and analysis for enterprise customers like Uber, Meta, Canva, IBM, and Shopify. The company recently completed Series B funding and has grown 800% over the past 12 months. As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you'll be a core member of the Infrastructure team responsible for building and maintaining the foundation of Ivo's platform. Each customer receives an isolated environment with containerized infrastructure, databases, and VPCs. Your role goes beyond "keeping the lights on"—you'll architect and evolve systems that enable the entire engineering organization to move faster and more reliably. Key responsibilities include: - Design and maintain Docker-based environments across development, staging, and production - Own deployment and release pipelines using GitHub Actions - Manage infrastructure as code using Pulumi - Support backend services (APIs, workers, jobs) and frontend applications - Debug complex issues across the full stack: infrastructure, backend, and frontend - Improve developer experience through faster builds and cleaner environments - Define and enhance CI/CD workflows - Automate repetitive processes You'll need a minimum of 5 years of DevOps/infrastructure experience with hands-on expertise in Pulumi (or Terraform), Docker, GitHub, and CI/CD pipelines. Strong debugging skills and some full-stack exposure are essential. Experience in startups is preferred but not required. Ivo values engineers who are relentlessly resourceful, have a strong sense of urgency, and are excited about the adventure of building a company. You should love writing code but prioritize impact above all else, making pragmatic 80/20 decisions. The company offers competitive compensation ($287K–$485K), meaningful equity, comprehensive health benefits, unlimited PTO, and relocation/visa support. The San Francisco office features catered lunch five days a week, premium snacks, an in-building gym, and a dog-friendly environment. This is a full-time, in-office role requiring 5 days per week in San Francisco.
