Invisible Technologies is an AI platform company that structures messy data, automates digital workflows, and deploys agentic solutions at scale. The company is profitable, recently raised $100M in growth capital, and ranked #2 fastest-growing AI company on the 2024 Inc. 5000 list. As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will own a domain of the Invisible platform—such as identity, compute, delivery, or agent infrastructure—and set the technical direction for how it operates. You'll define patterns that engineering teams across the company adopt, and be accountable for reliability, security, and cost. Key responsibilities include: - Own a platform domain end-to-end: architecture, roadmap, reliability, security posture, and cost management - Lead design and trade-off discussions across performance, scalability, cost, security, and reliability - Build multi-tenant infrastructure that client engagements can self-serve onto without bottlenecking the Platform team - Advance the agent-native engineering model, including safe execution environments, credential handling, internal tooling, and evaluation of where agents genuinely improve outcomes - Set standards for how the engineering organization works with coding agents, including review practice and context engineering - Partner with client-facing teams to understand infrastructure requirements and translate them into reusable platform capability - Mentor engineers, review designs, and raise the technical bar - Own on-call and post-incident review practice Required qualifications: - Proven experience designing and operating production Kubernetes at multi-team scale on GCP, Azure, or AWS - Deep experience with Terraform, Helm, and GitOps delivery - Strong grounding in identity/SSO, workload identity, secrets management, and network policy - Strong Python programming skills; you build tooling, not just configuration - Exceptional practical command of agentic coding tools with a track record of making other engineers more effective - First-principles grasp of why platform practices exist and which survive contact with agentic engineering - Excellent written communication skills - Track record of shipping infrastructure that other engineers depend on This role emphasizes judgment over throughput. You'll decide which problems are worth solving, recognize when the unremarkable solution is correct, and know when to decline bespoke requests. A meaningful part of the role is determining what platform practices still apply, what needs reworking, and what must be built from scratch in the context of AI-driven development.
