As Senior DevOps Engineer, you will design, build, and operate the cloud infrastructure and deployment architecture for the R-Cloud platform, supporting backend, data, search, and AI workloads. You'll define and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, establish reusable deployment patterns and infrastructure standards across engineering teams, and automate provisioning of development, test, staging, and production environments.
Key responsibilities include building and optimizing CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions) to improve deployment frequency and reliability; implementing comprehensive observability across applications and infrastructure (monitoring, logging, tracing, alerting, dashboards); and establishing infrastructure security, secrets management, and IAM with least-privilege access for enterprise workloads. You'll partner with engineering teams to diagnose infrastructure, networking, and performance issues, drive cost optimization, and participate in incident response and root-cause analysis.
You bring 6–9 years of hands-on DevOps, Cloud Infrastructure, Platform Engineering, or Site Reliability Engineering experience, with demonstrated ownership of production cloud infrastructure at scale. You have deep expertise in public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP), multi-tenant enterprise SaaS architecture, Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD pipeline design, cloud networking, observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana), and production reliability patterns (high availability, fault tolerance, disaster recovery, capacity planning, autoscaling). You're comfortable with scripting and automation (Python, Bash), infrastructure security, and supporting distributed, data-intensive systems.
Preferred qualifications include FinOps practices, SRE methodologies (SLOs, SLIs, error budgets), and security compliance standards (NIST, FedRAMP, SOC 2). A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical experience) is required.
