Graphcore is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to build the deployment backbone for Go services powering its software platform. In this role, you will create CI/CD foundations that enable engineers to move faster with confidence, supporting Go-based applications and Kubernetes-native services across secure, repeatable deployment workflows.
Your primary responsibilities include:
- Designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitLab CI or GitHub Actions
- Automating infrastructure provisioning and configuration with Terraform, Helm, and Ansible

- Making deployments easier to audit across development, staging, and production environments
- Supporting Go application development and testing workflows
- Collaborating closely with software engineers to embed DevOps practices into daily development
You will join the SW Platform Division within the Workload Management Organization, working alongside software engineers building Graphcore's platform capabilities. The team operates through shared ownership, direct communication, and a focus on useful outcomes. You will be trusted to identify issues, propose improvements, and drive them to completion. Decisions are made with technical evidence, open discussion, and pace.
Required qualifications:
- Proven DevOps experience in cloud-native environments
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and container orchestration
- Strong experience building CI/CD workflows
- Proficiency in scripting and infrastructure automation (Python, Bash, Terraform, Helm, Ansible)
- Experience supporting Go application development
- Solid understanding of Linux, networking, security, and system administration
The role suits someone who enjoys ownership, clear systems, and solving practical engineering problems at scale. While specific requirements are outlined, the company values transferable skills and diverse experiences.
