We are seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our DevOps team in a hands-on technical role. You will work closely with the DevOps Lead, fellow DevOps engineers, and cross-functional teams to build and operate resilient, secure, and well-automated infrastructure supporting compliance and investigations technology used to trace billions in illicit crypto activity.
Key responsibilities include:
Kubernetes Platform & Infrastructure: Engineer, review, and enhance Kubernetes and CNCF-aligned infrastructure. Operate and improve multi-cluster, multi-region AWS environments using tools like Istio, Linkerd, Cluster API, and Kyverno. Contribute to the DevOps and Platform roadmap, including Kubernetes platform evolution and enabling engineering teams to ship reliably to production.
AI Gateway: Contribute to the Kong AI Gateway, including Kubernetes operator setup, dataplane deployments, ACM/SSL integration, and observability via DataDog.
Delivery & Automation: Build and maintain progressive delivery pipelines using GitOps-driven approaches with tools like Flux and Flagger. Manage CI pipelines via CircleCI. Maintain Infrastructure as Code and GitOps standards with automated testing.
Security & Compliance: Support Zero Trust practices using Vault, service identity, and mTLS-secured meshes. Build policy-driven automation using OPA or Kyverno. Work with provisioning tools like Crossplane or ACK.
Collaboration: Partner with Security, Data, and AI teams on DevOps and platform decisions.
Ideal candidates have strong hands-on Kubernetes experience including cluster lifecycle management, API extensions, Operators, and Helm. Deep Terraform expertise with complex state management and module design is essential. Experience designing and operating multi-cluster, multi-region Kubernetes platforms with service meshes (Istio, Consul, Linkerd) is required. GitOps pipeline implementation with ArgoCD or FluxCD for progressive delivery is critical. AI fluency—working knowledge of LLM-based services and AI infrastructure—is important; you should be comfortable deploying, securing, and operating AI Gateways and services.
Bonus qualifications include Operator development, CRD automation, eBPF, Cilium, policy-as-code with OPA/Kyverno, AI-driven internal developer platforms, DataDog expertise, and open-source/CNCF contributions.
