Clio is seeking a Senior Software Development Manager, International to lead engineering efforts supporting the company's expansion into new international markets. The role is based in Barcelona and reports to senior leadership.
You will lead a growing team of engineering managers and individual contributors, directly supervising and mentoring talent while remaining highly technical—coding, designing, and reviewing code alongside your team. You'll guide the technical strategy for innovative projects, including launching Clio's products in new markets worldwide, and partner with Product Management and Product Design to develop and execute the product roadmap.
Key responsibilities include: deep-diving into technology and code to solve problems; leading international market expansion efforts; making critical technical decisions to ensure system health and scalability; actively recruiting top talent with the People/Recruiting team; and fostering a safe, productive, inclusive environment that promotes positive culture and diversity.
You bring proven international SaaS leadership experience, having navigated differing regulatory systems, business practices, and cultural expectations across markets. You're adept at scaling services and systems, managing high-performing teams, and crafting long-term technical strategies and roadmaps. You have a track record running agile organizations at scale with a sense of urgency to deliver quality software. You're comfortable with spec-driven development, autonomous agents, and emerging AI technologies, with a growth mindset toward process improvement.
