As Senior DevOps Engineer, you will own the cloud infrastructure and deployment ecosystem, serving as a key technical leader. This is a hands-on role requiring exceptional expertise in both AWS and Azure. You will architect, automate, and scale complex cloud environments while strengthening security posture and enabling rapid, safe shipping.
Key responsibilities include: owning and evolving multi-cloud infrastructure across AWS and Azure; designing secure, scalable, highly available architectures; building and maintaining infrastructure as code using Terraform; managing CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation; managing Kubernetes and containerized workloads; establishing observability using DataDog; building systems for reliability, uptime, and disaster recovery; partnering with Engineering and Security on infrastructure security; managing cloud networking, identity, storage, databases, and access controls; automating operational work; troubleshooting production issues and leading incident response; establishing infrastructure standards and best practices; evaluating new cloud technologies; supporting high-scale AI/ML workloads; mentoring engineers; defining long-term architecture roadmap; and supporting SOC2, ISO, and FedRAMP compliance.
Within three months, you will develop deep understanding of AWS/Azure environments, identify infrastructure risks and opportunities, establish relationships with Engineering and Security, take ownership of critical processes, eliminate manual work, improve reliability and observability, and implement scaling roadmaps.
Required qualifications: 7+ years in DevOps, SRE, Cloud Infrastructure, or related discipline; expert-level experience with both AWS and Azure (core requirement); deep cloud architecture, networking, security, scalability, and reliability knowledge; extensive hands-on Terraform or comparable IaC experience; strong Kubernetes and Docker/containerization experience; deep CI/CD pipeline building and management; strong Linux systems administration; cloud networking expertise (VPCs, routing, DNS, load balancers, firewalls, VPNs); strong IAM, secrets management, encryption, and least-privilege access understanding; monitoring and observability platform experience; strong scripting/programming in Python, Bash, Go, or similar; production systems operations experience; excellent incident response and troubleshooting; independent decision-making and ownership; strong communication and cross-functional partnership skills.
