Harvey is an AI platform transforming legal and professional services through frontier agentic AI and enterprise-grade infrastructure. The company is scaling rapidly with strong product-market fit and world-class investor backing.
You will be Harvey's first Deal Desk hire in APAC, serving as the commercial subject matter expert for go-to-market teams across Australia, Japan, Korea, and the wider region. This hybrid role combines deal strategy and deal operations, reporting to the Head of Deal Desk (US-based) while working closely with APAC GTM leadership, RevOps, Pricing and Packaging, Legal, Finance, and Product.
DEAL STRATEGY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Partner with Account Executives at every deal stage on structure, pricing, and negotiation
- Build scenario-based pricing models using product telemetry to connect customer usage to price and value
- Serve as expert on Harvey's move to consumption-based pricing, helping AEs explain it to law firm and in-house customers
- Handle redlines and non-standard requests with Legal, Finance, and Product; summarize and escalate approvals
- Build and maintain field-facing playbooks covering allowed terms, fallback positions, and approval paths
- Deliver enablement to the APAC field on pricing and deal best practices
- Join customer calls where you can add value
- Track regional commercial trends and proactively raise insights to Deal Desk and GTM leadership
DEAL OPERATIONS RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Review, validate, and process orders for accuracy, policy compliance, and booking readiness
- Act as first-line support for Salesforce and CPQ quoting, approvals, and opportunity hygiene
- Manage and triage the regional Deal Ops ticket queue
- Contribute to CRM and CPQ enhancements through requirements, UAT, and rollouts of new workflows
This is the first Deal Desk hire in APAC, offering the opportunity to shape how Harvey prices and sells as it moves to consumption-based pricing. You will work autonomously with a manager in another time zone and have a potential long-term path to leading Deal Desk in the region as the team grows.
WORKPLACE: Hybrid with flexibility; 3 days in Sydney office, 2 days working from home.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 4+ years in Deal Desk, Commercial or Sales Operations, or RevOps supporting deal construction, with hands-on experience in both strategy and operations
- Experience with consumption or usage-based pricing (big data, cloud infrastructure, or AI platforms are a strong plus)
- Pricing models and scenario analyses you built yourself and used in live deals
- Experience with Salesforce and CPQ (e.g., Salesforce CPQ, DealHub) and quote-to-cash processes
- Experience delivering field enablement and creating playbooks or process documentation
- Clear, concise, and measured communication with AEs, executives, and cross-functional partners
- Calm under pressure, and able to say no while staying a trusted business partner
- Comfortable working autonomously with a manager in another time zone, and thriving through constant change
- Uses AI tools to work more efficiently
- Must have valid Australian work rights; Harvey does not currently offer visa sponsorship for this role
