ezCater is the #1 food tech platform for workplaces in the US, enabling organizations to manage food needs and order from over 125,000 restaurants nationwide. This is a build-from-the-ground-up Senior Data Product Manager role focused on owning the data foundation for fulfillment and delivery operations—one of the most data-rich and operationally complex parts of the business. You will own fulfillment as a data product, including the canonical domain model, metrics architecture, and governed data products that power analytics, intelligent routing, risk scoring, and service-level decisions. Your responsibilities span: • Defining and refining the fulfillment data domain strategy, treating it as a product with clear adoption metrics and business ROI aligned to Enterprise Data and company roadmaps. • Owning the canonical fulfillment lifecycle model—events, entities, relationships, and exception paths—and evolving it into the authoritative reference for the entire initiative. • Designing the metrics architecture covering operational, capability, geographic, and performance views that roll up to network-health signals and drill down to micro-moments across the order lifecycle, anchored on customer-facing reliability, timeliness, accuracy, and cost to serve. • Building governed, production-ready data products for analytics and self-service consumption, direct query access, and telemetry feeding into ML models. • Ensuring the data foundation reliably serves machine-learning and decisioning workloads, defining signals, telemetry, and feedback loops required by models. • Decomposing work into small, estimable units with credible commitments, explicit trade-offs, and visible dependencies and risks. • Owning data health as a product promise—freshness, accuracy, success service levels, observability, and incident resolution—while managing unit economics. • Driving adoption through validation with business owners, change management, documentation, enablement, and measuring business impact. • Partnering with data platform, data architecture, delivery operations, and analytics teams to frame fulfillment as a domain built on the Enterprise Data Hub. You will work alongside a principal product lead for the overall initiative and a dedicated engineering team. This role owns the "what and why" of the data foundation; engineering and architecture own the "how."
