1Password is seeking a Senior Data Analyst to partner strategically with the Customer Success organization and drive insights across the product-led digital customer journey. You will analyze how customers progress from sign-up through activation, engagement, conversion, expansion, and renewal, translating complex data into actionable recommendations for leadership on growth levers and investment priorities.
You'll sit within the centralized analytics function, collaborating closely with Customer Success, Product, Growth, RevOps, and Data Engineering. Your work will shape how 1Password measures and understands adoption, retention, and expansion dynamics. You'll help define success metrics for digital and scaled programs, identify expansion opportunities, and build data foundations that support the company's AI and automation capabilities.
The analytics team is thoughtfully embedding AI into workflows—using it to accelerate SQL development, pressure-test interpretations, create executive narratives, and build Generative BI applications that enable stakeholders to explore data independently. You'll ensure 1Password has the data governance, structure, and foundations its broader AI transformation requires, while maintaining clear standards and human accountability in all consequential decisions.
This is a remote role available to candidates in the United States and Canada. 1Password is a remote-first company founded in 2005, with over 180,000 businesses relying on its market-leading enterprise password manager and Unified Access Management platform. The company has surpassed $500M ARR and was named to the Forbes Cloud 100 for four years running.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 5+ years in analytics within complex B2B SaaS environments, ideally product-led or self-serve motion (B2C or hybrid B2B/B2C experience is a plus)
- Strong PLG and customer lifecycle expertise: activation, PQLs, cohort analysis, retention, churn, expansion, and growth modeling
- Experience partnering with Customer Success, Product, and Growth stakeholders; ability to translate open-ended business questions into analytical frameworks
- Ability to synthesize complex analysis into clear recommendations and communicate to senior leaders, influencing decisions and priorities
- Experience with experimentation (A/B testing), statistical modeling, or predictive techniques (churn or propensity modeling) in a business context
- Advanced SQL and strong experience with large-scale analytical datasets, including product usage and event data
- Hands-on experience with modern AI/BI tools (Hex, Omni, Claude, Dust, or similar)
- Comfort with modern cloud data ecosystems: Snowflake, Databricks, dbt
- Experience with GTM and customer platforms such as Salesforce and CS platforms (Gainsight or similar); familiarity with product analytics tools (Amplitude, Segment, or similar) is a plus
