We are seeking a Senior Data Analyst to lead the company's reporting and analytics function. As the sole Data Analyst, you will serve as an internal analytics consultant, partnering with teams across the organization to turn business, product, and security data into actionable insights.
In this role, you will analyze business operations, customer behavior, mobile application telemetry, and security event data to support decision-making, measure product performance, identify trends, and inform strategic planning. You will also contribute to financial reporting, assisting with quarter-end close, invoicing, and reconciliation.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and maintaining executive dashboards and operational reports using Tableau
- Analyzing business metrics including revenue, customer growth, subscriptions, retention, product adoption, and operational performance
- Examining mobile application telemetry, customer behavior, product usage, and feature adoption
- Monitoring security event data to identify threats, trends, anomalies, and product effectiveness
- Partnering with Finance, Sales, Customer Success, Product Management, Engineering, and Security Intelligence teams
- Defining and monitoring KPIs and identifying trends and opportunities for improvement
- Writing efficient SQL queries in AWS Athena to extract and analyze large datasets from Amazon S3
- Integrating data from multiple internal systems to develop reporting and analytical solutions
- Designing, developing, publishing, and maintaining Tableau dashboards
- Ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and integrity
- Documenting data sources, business rules, report definitions, and analytical methodologies
- Identifying opportunities to automate recurring reporting and analysis
Success requires advanced SQL skills, strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, independence, and excellent communication skills to translate complex findings into clear insights for technical and non-technical audiences.
