Onebrief builds AI-powered collaboration and workflow software for military planning and operational coordination. The company is seeking a Senior Corporate Security Systems Engineer to own and mature the technical security foundations protecting the corporate environment as the organization scales.
This is a hands-on security engineering role focused on designing, deploying, and operating enterprise security technologies across endpoints, identity, SaaS applications, Zero Trust infrastructure, and the broader corporate security stack. The primary mandate is reducing manual security operations by building systems that continuously enforce security expectations and produce trustworthy audit evidence.
Key responsibilities include:
- Own and improve enterprise security technologies (EDR, SIEM, MDM, Zero Trust, identity, browsers, SaaS) including deployment, configuration, integrations, monitoring, and lifecycle management
- Establish and enforce secure configuration baselines, identify configuration drift, and build durable remediation mechanisms
- Build API-driven, infrastructure-as-code, or workflow-based automation to eliminate repetitive security work and improve control enforcement and evidence collection
- Partner with Corporate IT and application owners to securely deploy and operate endpoints, applications, and SaaS platforms
- Improve security telemetry by integrating corporate systems with centralized monitoring to detect vulnerabilities, misconfigurations, and suspicious activity
- Translate security and compliance requirements (CMMC 2.0, NIST-aligned controls) into practical technical implementations with continuous validation
Required qualifications: 4+ years hands-on security engineering or enterprise security experience; experience securing identity, SaaS, or Zero Trust environments; experience building security automation using APIs, infrastructure-as-code, or scripting; experience deploying and administering EDR/SIEM platforms; experience with MDM or endpoint-management platforms; ability to evaluate technical requirements through a security lens and work across teams.
Preferred: experience with CrowdStrike, Zscaler, enterprise MDM, identity providers, SIEM platforms; implementing CMMC 2.0, NIST 800-53, or CIS/STIG controls; building SaaS/security platform integrations using REST APIs or automation platforms; securing corporate environments in regulated, government, or defense organizations.
