Re:Build DAPR Engineering, a subsidiary in Nashua, New Hampshire, is an engineering design and analysis consulting firm developing custom automation solutions and industrial machines for OEM partners. You will lead controls engineering efforts on complex electro-mechanical product development projects. Working under limited supervision, you'll conduct research, design, testing, and evaluation of improvements to control systems and automation solutions. Key responsibilities include performing system analysis and documentation within a team environment, assisting with PLC programming across various platforms (servos, robotics, hydraulics, pneumatics, safety circuits, vision systems), developing HMI screens and control logic, organizing and planning technical tasks, and participating in client meetings and design reviews. You may assign work to technical staff and provide support resolving manufacturing issues. You bring a BS in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Software, Robotics, or related field) and at least five years of controls engineering experience in industrial machinery development. Strong written and verbal communication, organizational skills, and interpersonal abilities are essential. You're proficient with engineering tools (Mathcad, ANSYS, FEA packages), CAD packages (SolidWorks preferred), and standard office software. Familiarity with motion systems, PLC programming, and robotics is beneficial. You excel at solving practical problems with limited standardization and can apply engineering mathematics, statistics, and business analysis to real-world challenges.
