Cylib is building Europe's battery supply chains and circular economy infrastructure at industrial scale. This Senior Controller role is responsible for establishing plant and project controlling from the ground up across production sites and large-scale projects.
Key responsibilities include:
- Building and developing plant and project controlling functions, establishing management logic, KPIs, standards, and processes
- Owning budget planning and regular forecasting for plants and large-scale projects, analyzing deviations and their operational causes, and deriving concrete actions
- Serving as a trusted sparring partner for plant and project managers and specialist departments, providing well-founded analyses and clear recommendations
- Establishing meaningful management reporting and preparing financial and operational data to support decision-making across management and specialist departments
- Embedding controlling standards and processes into day-to-day operations with specialist departments to ensure effective planning and management support
- Contributing to cross-functional projects and leading sub-projects or full projects end-to-end as needed

Requirements:
- Degree in business, economics, or comparable field with focus on controlling, finance, or accounting
- Several years of professional experience in controlling with confidence in planning, forecasting, reporting, and variance analysis
- Experience in plant, production, or project controlling (preferred)
- Proven experience building controlling structures, processes, and KPIs and establishing them with specialist departments
- Ability to quickly grasp complex production and project relationships and present financial and operational information clearly and decision-oriented
- Clear communication skills appropriate for diverse audiences (plant/project managers, specialist departments, executive management)
- Independent, structured, solution-oriented work style with ability to manage multiple topics in parallel while maintaining priorities and perspective
- Very good Excel and PowerPoint skills; SAP R/3 or SAP S/4HANA experience is advantageous
- Fluent German and English communication
