Award and Negotiation: Review and negotiate contract terms and FAR/DFARS clauses with government Contracting Officers; coordinate internal review and approval; ensure proper recording and setup for performance tracking.
Post-Award Administration: Serve as primary point of contact with government Contracting Officers and CORs; manage contract modifications, change orders, option exercises, and incremental funding actions; track CDRLs and deliverable schedules; monitor contract performance for scope, funding, and schedule risks; prepare formal contract correspondence; support claims analysis and resolution; ensure appropriate FAR/DFARS flowdowns in subcontracts.
Compliance and Audit Support: Maintain audit-ready contract files; serve as initial point of contact for DCAA and DCMA interactions; support compliance with cost accounting standards and Truth in Negotiations Act requirements; track compliance-driven reporting obligations.
Closeout: Manage contract closeout procedures including final deliverable verification, property disposition, release of claims, deobligation of excess funds, and coordination with finance.
General: Maintain contract status reports and dashboards; support continuous improvement of contracting processes; build strong working relationships across programs, engineering, finance, and business development.
