Legora is an AI-native legal workspace trusted by 2,100+ customers across 80+ countries, including major firms like Cleary Gottlieb, Goodwin, and Linklaters. The company has scaled to $200M+ ARR and operates teams across Europe, North America, and APAC.
You will own Legora's editorial output in the US, driving long-form thought leadership, the company blog, and strategic content that gives sales and marketing teams meaningful reasons to engage prospects and customers. This role sits at the intersection of Brand, Product Marketing, Communications, and Sales.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and executing editorial strategy and calendar for the US market, defining themes, arguments, cadence, and audience targeting
- Researching, structuring, and writing substantial long-form pieces (reports, essays, points of view, industry analysis) that make real arguments rather than restating trends
- Developing content with executives, legal engineers, and customers, including ghostwriting under their names for credibility and placement
- Setting and maintaining editorial standards across all published content, editing others' work, and contributing to tone-of-voice guidance
- Building content optimized for search and AI answer engines without letting either dictate the writing
- Planning distribution with Growth, Brand, and International Marketing teams; defining success metrics (engagement, depth, sales usage, pipeline influence) and using data to inform editorial decisions
- Leveraging AI tools to accelerate research, structuring, and iteration while maintaining editorial judgment
You will work in Legora's Union Square office, designed for ambitious builders, with company-provided lunch daily and the opportunity to collaborate with global teams.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 5–7+ years in content strategy, content marketing, editorial, or journalism, ideally in B2B, SaaS, legal, financial services, or another complex domain
- Strong published portfolio demonstrating range, voice, and ability to make complicated subjects clear and interesting
- Proven experience owning a content program or publication end-to-end, including planning, commissioning, and maintaining quality standards across others' work
- Track record of producing sales-facing content with deep understanding of enterprise buying committees and long sales cycles
- Comfort with SEO and content performance data; ability to use metrics to inform decisions without writing for the algorithm
- Experience collaborating with product marketing, brand, communications, and executives; skilled at extracting points of view from busy experts
- AI-native mindset: comfortable using AI tools to work faster, with editorial judgment as the final authority
