Snowflake is seeking a Senior Content Marketing Manager to lead its Content Center of Excellence (CoE), driving original research, thought leadership, and AI-powered content workflows. This is a strategic, hands-on role at the intersection of content strategy, research, and AI innovation.
In this role, you will own and drive original research programs—surveys, data studies, competitive analysis, and industry benchmarking—that establish Snowflake as a thought leader on priority topics. You'll develop deep subject-matter expertise in 2-3 priority areas and build authoritative long-form content including research reports, executive bylines, data-driven blog series, and op-eds. You'll partner with internal SMEs and executives to source insights and translate them into high-impact narratives, while tracking share-of-voice, search trends, and competitive positioning to identify content gaps.
A core part of this role is designing, building, and continuously improving AI-powered content workflows using Snowflake Cortex, CoCo Skills, and Content Studio. You'll create and maintain AI skills and prompt chains for content production—blog drafting, ebook generation, SEO optimization, copyediting, brand voice compliance, and content auditing. You'll serve as the team's AI workflow architect, evaluating new AI capabilities, prototyping tools, and integrating them into the production pipeline. You'll also build self-serve AI tools that enable non-content teams (product marketing, field marketing, partner marketing) to produce on-brand, CoE-quality content independently, and evangelize the CoE's content standards and workflows across the organization.
You'll write and edit high-quality content across formats, ensure alignment with Snowflake brand voice and SEO best practices, use content performance analytics to inform editorial strategy, and manage content calendars, production timelines, and cross-functional stakeholder relationships.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 5-7+ years of experience in content marketing, editorial, or digital content strategy, preferably in B2B technology or enterprise SaaS
- Demonstrated experience building or using AI tools for content creation and content processes—prompt engineering, AI agents, LLM-powered workflows, or similar; ability to articulate specific AI workflows you've built, not just tools you've used
- Strong writer and editor with proven ability to produce research-driven, long-form thought leadership content (bylines, research reports, data studies)
- Experience designing and executing original research programs (surveys, data studies, benchmarks) that generate earned media and thought leadership positioning
- Ability to work with technical concepts (data engineering, AI/ML, cloud infrastructure, security) and translate them into compelling narratives for business and technical audiences
- Strong project management skills—ability to own and drive production schedules, manage stakeholders, and coordinate across multiple teams simultaneously
- Experience using content analytics (traffic, engagement, SEO rankings, pipeline attribution) to inform strategy and demonstrate ROI
- Comfort with data tools and willingness to learn Snowflake-specific platforms (Cortex, Streamlit, SQL basics); you don't need to be an engineer, but should be eager to build
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience with Snowflake or similar cloud data platforms
- Hands-on experience with AI/LLM platforms (building agents, prompt chains, RAG pipelines, or AI-assisted editorial workflows)
- Experience working in or with a content center of excellence model
- Familiarity with SEO tools and strategy (search volume analysis, keyword research, competitive gap analysis)
