Salary: USD 80,000 - 200,000 / annual
Veeva Systems, a $3B+ public benefit corporation and industry cloud pioneer, seeks a Senior Consultant for its Align product (part of Veeva Vault CRM Suite). This role combines project management, business analysis, and technical product configuration work on global implementations for pharma and medical device organizations.
You will lead business process due diligence, design, and documentation of end-user requirements for new and existing customer implementations. The position requires deep expertise in life sciences commercial operations, with responsibility for translating complex client and vendor concepts for audiences at all levels—from end-users to C-suite executives.
Key responsibilities include:
- Partnering with senior management and executives as a subject matter expert
- Developing and mentoring junior team members; serving as a technical and thought leader
- Building subject matter expertise in life sciences industry solutions and Veeva's product suite
- Growing team capabilities, establishing best practices, and creating accelerators
- Hands-on configuration and data management work (Excel, SQL, ETL)
- Up to 20% travel for customer and internal engagement
Required: 8+ years in technology consulting with commercial life sciences focus OR pharma commercial operations/sales planning. Proven data management and process analysis skills; proficiency with Excel, MS Access, or SQL. Must demonstrate ability to mentor and lead both customer and internal teams.
Preferred: 3+ years CRM experience in life sciences, MDM product knowledge, pharma/life sciences industry background, sales territory alignment and planning expertise, exposure to web services and ETL.
