Buzz Solutions is revolutionizing power grid analytics and maintenance through advanced AI and computer vision systems. We're seeking a Senior Computer Vision & Machine Learning Engineer to advance our computer vision initiatives and build foundational model capabilities.
In this role, you'll bridge cutting-edge research and production systems—reading papers, adapting novel algorithms, and deploying reliable models for power grid analysis. You'll own end-to-end computer vision projects focused on equipment defect detection, thermal anomaly identification, and critical infrastructure monitoring to enhance safety, reliability, and operational efficiency across power networks.
You'll work within a team of experienced ML engineers with high autonomy to drive your own projects. Responsibilities include project delivery on computer vision initiatives, collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate models into production systems, optimizing model performance for real-world deployment, and staying current with emerging research in computer vision and machine learning.
This is an individual contributor role where you'll have the autonomy and support to grow technically while making direct impact on critical infrastructure. You'll be expected to mentor junior engineers and contribute to the team's technical direction.
