BIT (formerly Matrixport) is a global digital asset financial services and infrastructure group headquartered in Singapore. The company bridges traditional finance and digital assets through governance-driven financial services, managing over $7 billion in assets and facilitating $7+ billion in monthly trading volume. BIT operates licensed entities across Singapore, Hong Kong, Switzerland, the UK, the US, and Bhutan, serving institutional and professional investors. You will own the end-to-end on-chain analytics and transaction monitoring (KYT) product line. This includes designing and refining risk scoring methodologies, detection rules, alert severity tiering, and disposition actions. You'll design alert triage and case management workflows while continuously improving operational metrics such as false positive rates, average time-to-disposition, and alert backlog management. Key responsibilities include building a configurable rules engine that enables the Compliance team to self-serve rule configuration and threshold management. You'll evaluate and manage third-party on-chain analytics vendors (Chainalysis, Elliptic, TRM, etc.), owning vendor selection, integration, and cost control. You'll integrate KYT workflows with adjacent compliance systems including sanctions and PEP screening, KYC, withdrawal risk controls, and Travel Rule implementation. You must ensure complete audit trails and decision lineage across all dispositions to satisfy regulatory inquiries, internal/external audits, and suspicious transaction reporting obligations. Required: 5+ years of compliance product experience in crypto or payments with end-to-end ownership of a KYT or transaction monitoring product line. You need solid understanding of on-chain analytics capabilities and limitations (indirect exposure, cross-chain activity, mixing services, false positive sources). Demonstrated ability to use data and metrics to drive measurable improvements in compliance operations efficiency. You must independently produce build-ready PRDs covering rules, state transitions, exception flows, and acceptance criteria. Working knowledge of FATF Recommendation 16 and Travel Rule requirements and their operationalization in on/off-ramp flows is essential. Experience partnering with Compliance, Legal, and Risk functions required. Professional working proficiency in both Chinese and English required. Preferred: Hands-on Travel Rule implementation experience in at least one jurisdiction. Experience with licensing, implementation, or regulatory filings under Hong Kong SFC, Singapore MAS, or EU MiCA regimes. Product experience in sanctions screening or name screening, or practical ML experience reducing false positives. Background serving institutional clients or supporting an OTC desk.
