ClearScore is a leading fintech with 26 million users globally, operating in the UK, South Africa, Australia, and Canada. Since launching in Canada in 2022, the company has grown to over 850,000 users and is the fastest-growing credit report and marketplace app in the market. As Senior Commercial Manager for Canada, you will own the commercial strategy for the Canadian marketplace and drive revenue growth. You'll be responsible for building and maintaining deep relationships with major Canadian banks, financial institutions, and fintechs. Your role involves understanding partner ambitions and challenges, negotiating commercial arrangements, and collaboratively maximizing the reach and performance of their products on the ClearScore platform. Key responsibilities include: - Owning commercial strategy from conception through delivery against annual revenue targets - Building and maintaining strategic partnerships with major financial institutions - Negotiating commercial terms with new and existing partners to ensure fair value distribution - Leveraging ClearScore's rich dataset to monitor marketplace performance, identify growth opportunities, and forecast initiative value - Partnering with Product, CRM, Analytics, and Tech teams to prioritize initiatives that drive commercial outcomes - Managing and developing one Commercial Executive team member You'll report to the Head of Canada and work closely with the Canada leadership team. This role requires someone who thrives on ownership, makes decisions independently, and is accountable for results. You'll set direction, build relationships, and own the numbers rather than support existing strategy. Ideal candidates bring significant experience in commercially focused roles with a track record of delivering results. You should have strong analytical skills, genuine curiosity about data, and the ability to spot trends and turn them into action. Experience managing and influencing senior stakeholders—both internally and externally—is essential. You're comfortable with ambiguity, have an entrepreneurial mindset, and can lead cross-functional teams through influence rather than hierarchy. Previous experience in strategy consulting, client-facing commercial environments, or fintech/B2B technology is beneficial but not required.
