You will join the Data Science and Analytics team within the UK Loans division, working on pricing strategy, funnel performance, and new product development. The team sits at the heart of Lendable's market-leading real rate risk-based pricing model, collaborating closely with product and credit teams.
In this role, you will:
- Learn Lendable's product domain and the data that informs pricing strategy
- Frame ambiguous business problems, break them into testable questions, and conduct structured analyses
- Research and propose improvements to pricing strategies and support new product/feature development
- Independently investigate and answer business questions using SQL and data
- Clearly communicate findings to stakeholders through verbal and written communication
- Share ideas with the team and contribute to the collective knowledge base
- Eventually take ownership of your own analytical strategies and pricing initiatives
You will be mentored within a small, high-impact team of resourceful problem-solvers who value finding smarter solutions than the status quo.
Requirements:
- 2–3 years' experience in an analytical or product-facing role, ideally in fintech
- Strong numerical and analytical skills; ability to structure ambiguous problems and reason rigorously
- Confident working with SQL to independently investigate and answer business questions
- Comfortable using modern AI tools as part of everyday workflow to accelerate analysis and research
- Ability to define metrics, form hypotheses, and evaluate trade-offs to guide decisions
- Strong communicator who contributes effectively within a team environment
- Self-driven and willing to take ownership of specific tasks and analyses
Nice to have:
- Prior experience with pricing or financial modelling
- Interest in Python or other tools for data analysis
