Anduril Industries is seeking a Senior Cloud Software Engineer to join the Intelligence Systems team, focused on delivering specialized engineering and products for Intelligence Community customers. This role is central to building and maintaining resilient infrastructure that supports deployment of mission-critical software across multi-cloud and on-premises environments. You will design, deploy, and operate highly available, resilient, and scalable commercial cloud infrastructure tailored for defense and intelligence applications. Key responsibilities include developing and maintaining tooling infrastructure for cloud and on-premises deployments, troubleshooting complex issues across Linux-based systems, and collaborating with software development teams to optimize containerized application deployments using RKE2. You will monitor and remediate security weaknesses, serve as a subject matter expert for Kubernetes and cloud infrastructure across Anduril, and help shape how the organization leverages modern cloud technologies. Required qualifications include 3-7+ years of software engineering experience with languages like Go, Python, or Java; solid practical experience with Docker and Kubernetes; strong understanding of cloud networking concepts (VPCs, subnets, routing, security groups); and deep experience architecting and securing production cloud infrastructure. You must be highly proficient in modern cloud providers (preferably GCP or AWS), experienced with Infrastructure-as-Code tools like Terraform, and capable of leading and mentoring engineering teams. A critical requirement is an active U.S. Top Secret SCI security clearance. Preferred qualifications include DevOps, Security Engineering, or SRE background; extensive Kubernetes expertise including SRE principles and managed Kubernetes offerings (Rancher, Anthos); experience with monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch); and advanced cloud security knowledge. This role offers the opportunity to work on mission-critical software with real-world national security impact.
