Datadog is seeking a Senior Cloud Security Engineer with deep expertise in Kubernetes and service mesh security to join the Platform Security organization. In this role, you will partner across the organization to secure Datadog's cloud infrastructure and build solutions that address systemic security risks. You'll work on making the secure path easier and the insecure path harder, enabling the business to move faster while maintaining strong security posture.
Key responsibilities include:
- Solving challenging cloud infrastructure security problems, starting with core building blocks and golden paths
- Enabling engineers to build and ship secure solutions quickly
- Building and extending Datadog's Platform Security solutions
- Leveraging and influencing the direction of Datadog's cloud security products
- Providing internal feedback to improve products for both internal use and customers
- Rotating through a variety of internal projects to gain deep exposure to Datadog's infrastructure
- Partnering with bleeding-edge internal products and developing AI-based solutions for security at scale
You will be a specialist in service mesh and Kubernetes security, joining an incredibly strong infrastructure security-focused group. The role involves both hands-on technical work and strategic influence on security architecture and tooling.
