Salary: USD 187,000 - 220,000 / annual
Robinhood is seeking a Senior Cloud Security Engineer to join its Cloud Security team in Bellevue, WA. This role is hybrid with in-person attendance required at least 3 days per week.
You will be part of an elite team protecting Robinhood's AWS cloud infrastructure and providing foundational security capabilities to engineers across the company. The Cloud Security team is a major contributor to the company's least privilege objective, managing network traffic and reducing unnecessary access escalation.
As a Senior Security Engineer, you will own the security posture for cloud infrastructure supporting all Robinhood products. You'll build and operate solutions that protect foundational infrastructure while making it easier for developers to secure their applications. Key responsibilities include:
- Building and operating security solutions that protect AWS cloud infrastructure
- Developing software, services, and automation that provide safe defaults and intuitive capabilities to other engineers
- Configuring systems with a safety-first approach
- Establishing and maintaining security controls across the cloud environment
You should bring:
- Proven experience securing enterprise applications on AWS
- Proficiency with Golang (preferred) or Python
- Strong Infrastructure-as-Code experience using Terraform
- Expert-level knowledge of AWS security services including IAM, Service Control Policies, AWS WAF, and AWS Network Firewall
- Deep familiarity with industry best practices like the AWS Well-Architected Framework and CIS Benchmarks
- A strong commitment to safety-first principles
