The Cloud Infrastructure Engineering team is the foundation for designing, deploying, and securing Anduril's advanced defense products. As a Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer, you will take a leading role in designing and implementing world-class defensive controls with high autonomy to shape security architecture.
Key responsibilities include:
- Architect, build, and deploy robust, scalable security controls for corporate, development, and production cloud environments across AWS, Azure, and GCP
- Develop and automate infrastructure-as-code (IaC) solutions to manage and scale cloud deployments securely and efficiently
- Continuously monitor, identify, and remediate security weaknesses and configuration drift across the entire cloud footprint
- Partner with infrastructure, application, and product teams to embed security best practices and secure environments holding mission-critical data
- Engineer systems and processes ensuring high availability, resilience, and rapid growth capability
- Serve as the go-to subject matter expert for cloud security across Anduril, providing guidance, mentorship, and paved-road solutions
Required qualifications include 3+ years in Cloud Security, DevOps, or SRE roles; deep proficiency in at least one major cloud provider; strong hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, Bicep); solid programming/scripting ability in Python, Go, Rust, or similar; firm understanding of public cloud networking principles; and U.S. Person status with eligibility to obtain and maintain a U.S. Secret security clearance.
Preferred qualifications include experience hardening and monitoring Kubernetes clusters, cloud security posture management (CSPM) or threat detection tooling, CI/CD pipeline security and software supply chain knowledge, and familiarity with compliance frameworks such as FedRAMP, SOC 2, or CMMC.
