Salary: USD 191,000 - 253,000 / annual
Anduril Industries is a defense technology company transforming U.S. and allied military capabilities through advanced technology. The Air Dominance & Strike (AD&S) Vehicle Software team develops software for autonomous robotics systems including the Fury unmanned fighter jet and Barracuda family of advanced effects.
In this role, you will be responsible for deploying software applications and infrastructure in government-owned Azure environments to integrate with mission partners. You will research, understand, and plan deployment strategies into classified government cloud infrastructure, designing cloud networking and engineering solutions to meet security, cost, and performance requirements.
Key responsibilities include:
- Deploying Anduril software into government infrastructure and promoting it through various stages
- Identifying and triaging Kubernetes issues in deployed environments, developing response and mitigation plans
- Partnering with government platform management to address infrastructure issues effectively
- Designing and implementing requirements for observability, alerting, and maintenance
- Delivering and maintaining accreditation artifacts and standards for environments and systems
- Standing up and maintaining representative unclassified environments for testing and development
- Providing direct in-person expertise during mission-critical periods
- Ensuring deployed systems meet security and compliance requirements through regular updates and host OS patching
You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop internal roadmaps based on organizational needs.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 5+ years of working experience in DevOps or SRE type roles
- Strong proficiency in cloud services (Azure and AWS)
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Cloudformation, Puppet, Ansible, or similar)
- Strong experience with containerization technologies (Docker) and orchestration tools (Kubernetes, Helm)
- Understanding of networking concepts, TCP/IP protocols, and security best practices
- Programming ability in one or more general scripting languages (Python, Bash, Powershell, etc.)
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work well under pressure
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Experience deploying complex and scalable infrastructure solutions
- Currently possesses and able to maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance
- Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Top Secret security clearance
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Extensive expertise in Kubernetes and Helm
- Relevant certifications (AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert, Google Cloud Certified Professional)
- Experience with government Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs)
- Experience installing, sustaining, and troubleshooting data systems for DoD or sensitive customers
- Familiarity with DoD-managed network enclaves (NIPR, SIPR, etc.)
