You'll join the Clinical & Member Experience team as a Senior Clinician, playing a key role in day-to-day clinical delivery across private GLP-1 weight-management services, NHS Behavioural Support for Obesity Prescribing (BSOP), and NHS Specialist Weight Management Services (SWMS). This is a remote role with optional office access in London (White City) on Mondays and Thursdays.
Key responsibilities include:
- Deliver prescribing support for private GLP-1 weight-management services (large proportion of role)
- Conduct clinical assessments, medication reviews, issue prescriptions, and respond to prescribing queries across NHS BSOP and tier 3 services
- Deliver planned monthly follow-ups, monitoring adherence, response, and side effects
- Undertake complex patient reviews and comprehensive medication assessments within SWMS, escalating to MDT and Principal Doctor as appropriate
- Action MDT outcomes promptly, liaising with GPs and secondary care clinicians, conducting patient consultations and follow-up calls
- Provide clinical leadership in SWMS MDT meetings when Principal Doctor is unavailable
- Act as trusted clinical resource for health coaches, providing advice, clinical queries, education and training
- Contribute to development and continuous improvement of clinical protocols, prescribing guidance, training materials, and audit activities
- Exercise sound clinical judgement, managing prescribing responsibilities and escalating complex/high-risk cases appropriately

Requirements:
- Current GMC, NMC, or GPhC registration with licence to practise
- Independent Prescriber qualification
- Direct experience prescribing GLP-1 medications (privately and/or NHS setting)
- Experience managing patients with complex comorbidities, particularly cardiovascular disease, diabetes, and obesity-related long-term conditions
Full-time preferred but part-time considered for the right candidate. Some level of weekend cover required (e.g., half day or full day on one weekend day) to ensure 7-day clinical cover.
