BetterUp is building its channel partnership function from the ground up and seeking a Senior Channel Partnerships Manager to own this strategic initiative. Reporting to the SVP of Channel Partnerships, you will be responsible for establishing partner strategy, processes, and relationships with major technology platforms (Workday, SAP, Microsoft, Google), consulting firms, and global systems integrators—transforming them into a repeatable go-to-market motion that drives pipeline and revenue.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and executing partner strategy across HCM platforms, technology partners, consulting firms, and systems integrators from origination through launch
- Building the partner program from scratch, including partner selection criteria, engagement processes, and operating structures
- Establishing and nurturing executive relationships with partner leadership focused on long-term business value
- Defining joint business plans with measurable goals for pipeline, revenue, and market expansion
- Leading go-to-market planning for new product launches into the partner ecosystem and building co-sell motions
- Embedding partners into account planning and strategic pursuits through sales alignment
- Collaborating with Marketing and Product Marketing on joint messaging, case studies, and campaign assets
- Building partner enablement programs to ensure partner sales teams represent BetterUp accurately and confidently
- Running recurring partner operating cadences, including executive business reviews and quarterly planning
- Surfacing partner feedback and ecosystem trends to leadership regularly
- Working cross-functionally with Product, Customer Success, Legal, and Finance to resolve partner issues
- Defining and tracking metrics for partner health, including partner-sourced pipeline, partner-influenced revenue, and executive engagement

Hybrid work structure: The company maintains US hub locations in Austin, TX; New York City, NY; San Francisco, CA; and Arlington, VA. Candidates near a hub are expected to work in-office at least 2 days per week (or 8 days per month) and should be prepared for up to 25% travel for client engagements. Candidates not near a hub will work fully remote with up to 50% travel for client engagements and internal purposes.
Requirements:
- 6+ years of experience managing technology partnerships or channel go-to-market motions
- Experience building and managing relationships with senior and C-level executives at partner companies
- Experience launching partner go-to-market programs, including co-sell motions and joint account planning
- Experience working cross-functionally across sales, marketing, product, and operations
- Ability to drive functional strategy for AI adoption, identifying transformational opportunities that create competitive advantage
- Experience transforming core business processes through strategic AI integration (e.g., marketing automation, sales intelligence, operations efficiency)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience partnering with major technology platforms (Google, Microsoft, Workday, SAP)
- Background in HR technology or workforce transformation space
- Experience building partner enablement programs from the ground up
