This Senior C++ Engineer role is an opportunity to join a world-leading engineering team designing and developing features across Pico's product range. The team works on Redline Trading Solutions, which delivers ultra-low latency market data and order execution solutions for equities, options, futures, and foreign exchange markets. You'll also contribute to Corvil Analytics, a real-time performance and execution analytics platform used by major market participants.
You will solve complex problems in real-time data normalization and analysis at scale, working with a highly skilled engineering team where learning and innovation are core to the culture. The role involves designing high-performance systems, optimizing for latency and throughput, and bringing innovative technology into new markets and deployment models.
Required qualifications include a BSc or MSc in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or related discipline. You must have strong proficiency in C++ development under Linux, expertise in high-performance systems and multi-threaded application development, and solid knowledge of IP networking. The ideal candidate is a problem-solver with an insatiable appetite for learning, excels in collaborative team environments, and takes initiative to benefit the team.
