Island is building an enterprise platform that unifies AI enablement, network access, data protection, identity, and endpoint control into a cohesive workspace. As a Senior C++ Engineer, you'll be part of a core R&D group responsible for end-to-end feature development, from research and design through production. You'll work extensively with the Chromium codebase, diving deep into complex technical challenges to research and define solutions for real-world enterprise security and productivity problems.
Your responsibilities include:
- Contributing to the design and implementation of core platform features
- Researching and prototyping solutions for enterprise security challenges
- Collaborating closely with product managers, web developers, security specialists, and field engineers
- Engaging directly with customers to understand and solve real enterprise challenges
- Maintaining and improving the large, complex codebase that powers Island's platform
