As a Senior Buyer Planner Commodity Specialist, you will report to the Supply Chain Operations Manager and play a critical role in procurement and supply chain execution. Your responsibilities will include:
• Execute procurement planning directives from the Oracle ERP system, ensuring alignment with production schedules and material availability
• Review purchase requisitions for accuracy and completeness, coordinating with key suppliers to ensure material readiness and production availability
• Monitor Open PO (Purchase Order) reports and work directly with suppliers to ensure all committed dates and delivery schedules are met
• Issue and manage Purchase Orders within the Oracle system
• Add and update supplier information in the system as required
• Report on key departmental performance metrics to leadership
• Support strategic and tactical supply chain projects as assigned by the Purchasing Manager
This role requires strong ERP system expertise, supplier relationship management, and the ability to balance competing priorities in a fast-paced global supply chain environment. You will be instrumental in maintaining supply chain efficiency and supporting Extreme's continued growth.
REQUIREMENTS:
• Bachelor's degree (undergraduate college degree)
• Exceptional working knowledge of Oracle or SAP for procurement
• Fluent English (required)
• Excellent organizational skills
• Strong work ethic with willingness to learn new systems and tools
• Familiarity with Kinaxis RapidResponse is a plus
