As a Senior Buyer, you will support procurement activities for key defense programs, manage critical supplier relationships, and ensure on-time delivery of materials and services essential to mission-critical projects. Key Responsibilities:
- Create, issue, and manage purchase orders to meet production and program needs
- Maintain and monitor supplier relationships, tracking performance metrics related to quality, delivery, and pricing
- Quickly resolve supply chain disruptions, delivery delays, and quality issues to keep projects on track
- Monitor and expedite orders to ensure deadlines and production schedules are met
- Partner with engineering, manufacturing, and program teams to align procurement with company goals
- Maintain accurate procurement records, track KPIs, and identify opportunities to streamline processes

REQUIREMENTS:
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain, engineering, business, or related field
- 4+ years of supply chain experience, including technical procurement
- Ability to read technical drawings and blueprints
Preferred:
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
- Proficiency in Excel; experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) is a plus
- Analytical mindset with attention to detail and problem-solving skills
