Syllo is a litigation AI platform that autonomously manages the entire litigation lifecycle for enterprise legal teams. As Senior Business Systems Engineer, you will design and maintain API integrations, data pipelines, and operational dashboards that connect Syllo's internal systems with third-party SaaS platforms.
You will build internal API bridges between vendor software and Syllo's tech stack, working closely with the Senior Data Engineer to extract metrics from external systems into BigQuery data warehouses. You'll maintain resilient data pipelines with robust error handling and monitoring, and deliver intuitive dashboards for Finance, Revenue Operations, and Customer Success teams.
Key responsibilities include evaluating integration strategies to optimize existing software before recommending custom builds, leveraging modern AI development tools to accelerate your own output, and sharing best practices across the engineering team.
You bring 5+ years of experience in business systems or integration engineering within B2B SaaS or enterprise environments. You have a proven track record building production API integrations across vendor platforms and connecting cloud data warehouses to BI tools. You're proficient in Python and FastAPI, with working knowledge of modern frontend frameworks like React. Experience with BigQuery, ETL/ELT pipelines, and integrating core business systems (CRM, billing, support, HRIS) is highly valued. You have strong judgment on when to configure versus build, prioritize speed and maintainability, and habitually use AI tools to increase engineering leverage.
