Aviso, a leading Canadian wealth management organization, is seeking a Senior Business Operations Manager to report to the VP of Business Initiatives & Operations. This role is central to executing Asset Management's strategic priorities by translating strategy into action and maintaining discipline across planning, reporting, and governance. Key responsibilities include managing annual departmental business planning processes, coordinating budget and FTE planning, and supporting the prioritization and sequencing of strategic initiatives. You will oversee the execution of key initiatives, ensuring timelines, risks, dependencies, and deliverables are actively managed and reported. The role also involves directly leading select strategic projects to ensure outcomes align with business priorities. On the reporting and performance management side, you will produce and maintain the annual Asset Management Balanced Scorecard and departmental scorecards, prepare Executive Committee reporting, and ensure all reporting is consistent, actionable, and aligned to leadership expectations. Governance is a critical component: you will represent Asset Management in enterprise forums including the Business Continuity Committee, Aviso CX Council, Enterprise Change Committee, and Operational Risk Committee. You will prepare materials for governance forums, maintain the quarterly risk register, and ensure initiatives adhere to enterprise governance, risk, and change management requirements. The ideal candidate brings 8+ years of asset management experience with a strong track record in strategy, business management, or project management. You should have demonstrated success delivering initiatives and managing projects in complex, cross-functional environments, with experience supporting budgeting, resource planning, and business performance tracking. Fluency in English is required; French bilingualism is an asset. You thrive in structured governance environments, execute with discipline, and manage competing priorities effectively.
