Revolut is seeking a Senior Business Development Manager to lead strategic partnerships within the Financial Institutions Group, reporting to the Treasury and CIO office. This role focuses on managing Revolut's global financial institution counterparty relationships and driving new revenue streams through partnership development.
Key responsibilities include:
- Serving as the primary interface between Revolut and banking partners, engaging at senior corporate and managing director levels
- Sourcing and closing strategic partnership deals with global partner banks
- Negotiating complex financial instruments including Nostro rates and derivative contracts (ISDA/CSAs, GMRA, Triparty clearing arrangements)
- Leading due diligence sessions and liaising with internal executive stakeholders
- Organizing quarterly business reviews and maintaining strategic partner relationships
- Conducting P&L analysis for Revolut and partner banks
- Driving end-to-end deal execution from inception through implementation
Required qualifications:
- Proven experience in financial institutions
- Track record of driving B2B2C/D2C partnerships across multiple territories and exceeding targets
- Strong negotiation and deal-making capabilities
- Demonstrated ability to construct, analyze, and deliver new business lines and products
- Fluent English with excellent communication and presentation skills
- Strong business acumen and interpersonal skills
- Ability to decompose complex problems and work effectively with data
- Familiarity with banking risk, regulations, due diligence, financial crime prevention, and onboarding
- Natural curiosity and drive to make impact
Preferred experience includes corporate banking background, fintech experience with banking partners, startup/tech/investment banking/consulting exposure, credit facilities and debt negotiation knowledge, and core payments understanding.
