This Senior Business Development Manager role focuses on partner acquisition—a hunter position responsible for the full cycle of identifying, qualifying, negotiating, and launching new reselling partners globally. You will own a partner-acquisition target and be measured on the number and quality of partners signed and successfully launched.
Key responsibilities include:
- Identifying market opportunities and industry trends across global markets to pinpoint where new partner opportunities are emerging
- Building and maintaining a global pipeline of prospective partners by researching platforms and companies whose customers need identity verification
- Prospecting and opening new relationships through outbound outreach and leveraging your network
- Qualifying and prioritizing partner fit based on commercial potential, technical fit, market reach, and strategic value
- Delivering compelling pitches and product positioning to partner executives on Trulioo's KYC, KYB, and AML solutions
- Negotiating and closing partnership agreements in collaboration with Legal and compliance teams
- Driving onboarding and go-to-market launches for new partners, coordinating enablement, technical integration, and launch marketing
- Partnering with Technical Account Management and Product to scope and stand up integrations
- Working cross-functionally with Business Development leadership, Partner Success, Legal, Product, Technical Account Management, and Marketing
While based in North America, your remit is global, following industry trends and demand for identity verification across multiple markets. You will work closely with the Partner Success team to ensure early momentum and long-term partnership success. The role is expected to leverage AI and emerging technologies to improve productivity and optimize workflows.
