AMCS Group (Quentic) is seeking a Senior Business Applications Manager to lead the development, integration, and optimization of their business application landscape in a growing SaaS environment. You will oversee critical systems including ERP, HRIS, collaboration platforms, and integrations, ensuring they operate reliably, securely, and efficiently.
Key responsibilities include administering and managing core business applications such as ERP, HRIS, Microsoft 365, Jira, Confluence, and AI productivity tools. You will translate business requirements into scalable system solutions, manage stakeholder priorities and expectations, and plan end-to-end business systems projects from requirements gathering through configuration, testing, go-live, and handover.
You will design, implement, and operate integrations between business systems using REST/SOAP APIs, iPaaS, and ETL/ELT solutions. You will automate manual processes and data flows to improve efficiency, quality, and transparency across teams. Working closely with internal departments, external service providers, and implementation partners, you will coordinate rollouts, migrations, and upgrades while ensuring governance, access controls, documentation, and security standards.
Additionally, you will support employees through training, documentation, and self-service resources. You are expected to use AI tools thoughtfully in your daily work to enhance quality and efficiency while exercising good judgment and taking full responsibility for results.
Required qualifications: minimum five years of experience in business systems, enterprise applications, or IT integration; senior responsibility for business-critical systems like ERP, CRM, or HRIS; practical experience administering and configuring applications such as NetSuite, SAP, Microsoft 365, Jira, Confluence, or Personio; solid experience building and operating system integrations via APIs or middleware platforms; end-to-end IT project management experience with agile or traditional methodologies; analytical, structured, documentation-oriented approach; hands-on mentality with strong communication skills and cross-functional understanding; proficiency with AI tools in professional contexts; fluent German and very good English.
