Graphcore is seeking a Senior Board Test Operations Engineer to build and maintain board test solutions for complex hardware moving from new product introduction into volume manufacturing. You will develop and maintain Flying Probe and ICT test programs for Graphcore circuit card assemblies, deploying these solutions with manufacturing partners in Taiwan.
Your responsibilities include improving test coverage, yield, stability, and production efficiency through test data analysis and resolution of PCB and test issues across manufacturing sites. You will work closely with the Product Test and Diagnosis team and Manufacturing Operations, owning problems through to resolution and strengthening testability from product design onwards.
The role requires proven experience in PCBA and system product validation within production manufacturing test environments. You must have strong experience with advanced electronic system testing platforms including Teradyne, Keysight, TRI, and preferably SPEA. A thorough understanding of SMT/PCB manufacturing processes, failure mechanisms, AOI and AXI inspection capabilities is essential.
You will have hands-on experience with ISP/OBP CCA configuration and local/remote use of test equipment including oscilloscopes, DMMs, clock generators, SMUs, and power supplies. Proven ability to collaborate with external Circuit Card Assembly test and manufacturing partners is critical.
Desirable qualifications include thorough understanding of electronics fundamentals, experience with Aster TestWay for analyzing electrical testability and test process coverage, general-purpose programming language experience (C, Python, Java), and familiarity with Statistical Process Control and associated tools.
