Mytra is building a new class of robotics and distributed software product to solve material movement and storage in supply chain and warehouse operations—a $1T market. The company focuses on applying autonomous robots and intelligent orchestration to address e-commerce growth, rising costs, and supply chain disruptions.
The Orchestration team builds the backend software that manages all work in a Mytra system: determining what each bot should work on, when, how, and in what sequence, while tracking system state and work requests. The role involves solving dynamically changing multi-agent pathfinding problems against a live fleet.
Key responsibilities include:
- Build backend software coordinating live bot fleets, including collision-free and time-feasible route planning across shared operating spaces
- Develop task assignment systems based on fleet state, task dependencies, timing constraints, and operational priorities
- Implement planning logic for storage and retrieval workflows, including payload placement and access strategies for blocked or buried items
- Support continuous replanning as work is added, canceled, reprioritized, or disrupted while maintaining fleet efficiency
- Maintain accurate system state between Mytra's digital model and physical warehouse environment
- Build recovery workflows for state divergence scenarios (blocked areas, maintenance, network drops, spills, unexpected events)
- Improve observability into planning cycles, task execution, and system behavior for debugging and performance optimization
- Design and maintain backend services, APIs, and data models supporting orchestration, planning, task execution, and fleet operations
- Integrate customer warehouse workflows and WMS data into Mytra's platform
- Collaborate with software, robotics, product, and customer-facing teams to deliver reliable orchestration in production
Ideal candidates have 5+ years of production software experience with strong backend engineering fundamentals.
