As a Senior Backend Engineer, you'll be part of the US/UK squad based in the Bucharest hub, responsible for building and maintaining integrations that connect voize with senior care and hospital software platforms. Your role focuses on ensuring seamless data flow between voize's products and partner systems.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing interfaces and APIs that integrate voize with care and medical sector software
- Building scalable, future-proof API solutions that set industry standards
- Taking end-to-end ownership of integration projects from conception through ongoing maintenance
- Designing thoughtful data models and sustainable solutions for complex healthcare systems
- Collaborating closely with partners and clients to understand integration needs
- Contributing to a culture of meaningful impact—your work directly improves documentation and frees caregivers to focus on patient care
Required qualifications:
- Several years of backend development and API integration experience
- Proficiency with Kotlin and Coroutines (essential)
- Strong API design and development skills (REST or GraphQL)
- Business-fluent English (C1 level) for customer communication
- Willingness to travel to Germany every 2 months for team alignment
