As a Senior Backend Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable backend systems that power the Personetics platform. You will work with a team of talented engineers to develop robust APIs, microservices, and data processing pipelines that handle transactional data at scale across 35 global markets serving over 150 million customers monthly.
Key responsibilities include architecting backend solutions for high-volume financial data processing, collaborating with product and data teams to implement new features, optimizing system performance and reliability, writing clean and maintainable code, and mentoring junior engineers. You will contribute to technical decisions that shape the platform's infrastructure and help establish engineering best practices.
The role requires deep expertise in backend development, strong understanding of distributed systems, experience with cloud infrastructure, and familiarity with financial services or fintech environments. You should be comfortable working with large-scale data pipelines and have a track record of shipping production systems.
